K-Beauty brand Cosmopolitan has been forced to remove a product from its shelves amid claims that it contains black mold.
K-Beautic, a Japanese cosmetics company, said it would remove the cleaning spray from its stores in Tokyo on Friday.
A statement from Cosmo stated that “we take this matter very seriously and are investigating it.”
Cosmo was not immediately available for comment.
Cosmo’s other brands, Cosmo Skin and Cosmo, were also affected by the news.
